KLM - MOTION COLOURING
For the introduction of the movie Planes, KLM surprised 300 schoolchildren to watch the premiere of the film on a real plane. a campaign of DDB. Part of this surprise was also a moving colouring of a KLM plane character. About 400 frames were printed out separately, coloured by the children, and put together into a stop motion film. This film was shown to the kids before they entered the plane. Illustrations are done by character designer Hayo van Dusseldorp, and Rollercoaster transferred it into 3d and animated it.nnCheck out the final result on the website of DDB.n
